The Tassimo Coffee Maker

Coffee Maker

Best Coffee Ever

The Tassimo is not just another coffeemaker. Oh no, it isn’t so. With the Tassimo Discs, aka T-Discs, you can make almost any hot drink under the sun with no fuss and no bother whenever your little caffeine-inspired heart desires. This machine is very versatile; it makes a real espresso that might even grow some hair on your chest if you are not careful, freshly brewed coffee, milk-based lattes and cappuccinos, tea, hot chocolate and café crema. How does it work, you might ask? Well, here goes.

Consider your coffee maker like a VCR or DVD player. Just as you would select a movie to watch and insert a tape or disc into a slot, so you would select a disk for whichever beverage you fancy. Insert your choice of T-DISC, select the right cup for your drink, press the button and …stand back! It takes just one minute to create an exquisite cup of whatever you have decided to imbibe (tea, coffee, chocolate or even random airline stewardesses with no specific flight plans).

One of the coolest things about the Tassimo coffee maker is that you can brew a second cup immediately and expect the same perfect results. There is no mess, no fuss, no grounds and no waiting. What more could a coffee lover ask for? (Mountains of gold perhaps, but that’s for yet another review). The T-Disks are faithful to Tassimo and will not function with any other coffee maker (To do so would be, after all, grounds for divorce.)

Each T-Disc is a technological wonder; precisely measured with coffee, tea, chocolate or concentrated milk, and sealed to protect the flavors inside. When inserted, the machine reads the barcode printed on the label and automatically calculates the amount of water needed, brewing time and temperature to prepare the perfect beverage. The T-Disc utilizes a unique inverse flow for the brewing process, which guarantees a perfect cup every single time.

The standard price for this amazing coffee maker is $169.99. Amazon.com offers the best deal available, which will total $116.66 after a product rebate and price reduction.

If you love coffee, you must have this coffee maker.

End of story.

Happy grounds until we meet again.

It sounds like a great machine, thanks for the info. I heard that the little coffee disks were expensive, is that true?

I am not sure about that. I think a set of disks comes with the machine, but I don't know about replacement costs. Sorry I can't be more helpful. If you "Google" the name of the machine, you might find an answer there.

Best to you.

I did some poking around as you suggested and it seems that you can pay between $4.99 and $7.99 for a package of 16 disks depending on the style and brand of coffee you select. That's an average of $.40 a cup so it still beats Starbucks by at least a dollar a cup.

Got a lot of bells and whistles but makes a very weak cup of coffee. Have to use two disks. I'll stick with my other coffee maker. It's a lot cheaper per cup too.

Single cup coffee makers are certainly a popular item in today's kitchens!

The coffee shops might feel the bite if we all start saving some of our money by making our morning coffee at home.

Keurig makes a great single serve coffee maker and the Flavia even makes lattes and cappuccinos!

I have a couple of hubs documenting these coffee machines as well as where to get a discount on them.

Thanks for the scoop on the Tassimo.

I have a Senseo and love it. I did try some whiz bang machine in Germany and Prauge and it was very nice. Those discs where pressed in foil. Better than Senseo, but expensive. Senseo is very good for the price. The kerig suchs. This thing ewe discuss here, I not know, but try before ewe buy.
